Well I would consider this an upset. There had been talk of before this loss of whether Cotto could beat Floyd Mayweather who before his "retirement" was dubed best pound for pound fighter. Not sure who Oscar De Lahoya is going to be fighting now, first he was supposed to fight Floyd, the Floyd decided to retire, then there was talk of him fighting Cotto and now Cotto loses and I think Oscar is going after who ever is considered the best in the weight class so maybe he will fight margarito now, who knows.

To sublime and Gonzo , I don't know if you lost any monies;
Cotto's handlers are the one's to blame, Cotto had a much better chance to beat Mayweather then Margarito;
Margarito the best puncher in the division with a chin of steel and he doesn't know how to fight ay other way but going forward and taking 2 to give 1;
To xchange with Margarito is to seal your fate;
In fact the fights that Margarito lost have been with boxers
that have been fighting side to side and in the center of the ring and in a time that a fight does not go over
12 rounds that is a blessing in the skies;
Instead Cotto has been in the canvas at least a couple of times only to come back and win those fights but it did show that his defense need it some work;
Bottom line this fight was to premature or arrogant in
the part of Cotto's handlers instead they should it went
for the Mayweather fight and then Cotto would it be
better prepare for a pure puncher like Margarito, done.
