UFC President Dana White has already said that if Chuck Liddell beats Rashad Evans tonight at UFC 88, he's likely to fight Forrest Griffin for the light heavyweight title next. Griffin says that means he's rooting for Liddell:"I don't want to say I want Chuck Liddell to win, but it would probably be better for me if he did. OK, I want Chuck Liddell to win. There, I said it."For Griffin, it just makes sense that he'd want Liddell to become the No. 1 contender for his title, for the simple reason that a Griffin-Liddell title fight would make more money than any other light heavyweight fight the UFC could put together -- and Griffin gets a share of the pay-per-view revenue.
The UFC already has four very big fights on the horizon: B.J. Penn vs. George St. Pierre and the heavyweight tournament of Brock Lesnar vs. Randy Couture, Frank Mir vs. Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira and the winners against each other. Add Liddell vs. Griffin to the mix, and the UFC is going to be raking in the cash in late 2008 and early 2009.

Hey all; I am missing something here, I think.....what would a Rashad v Jackson (Rampage) be like? It would seem to be a really incredible fight and Jackson would be an incredible match for Rashad. Please write me at my email if you can at chiamami@aol.com
Thanks, Tony
