The street fighter turned professional mixed martial arts fighter Kimbo Slice showed that he's the ultimate fraud, getting destroyed by Seth Petruzelli tonight with a first-round knockout that took just 14 seconds.Kimbo was scheduled to fight Ken Shamrock, but Shamrock pulled out with an injury. Petruzelli, who had been scheduled to fight Aaron Rosa on the undercard, was a last-minute replacement for Shamrock in the main event.
Kimbo had a significant size advantage: Petruzelli's fight with Rosa was scheduled to be a light heavyweight fight, so he weighed in at 205.5 pounds. Kimbo, a heavyweight, weighed in at 234.5 pounds. But it didn't matter. Petruzelli simply overwhelmed Kimbo at the opening bell. Kimbo had no business being in the cage against anyone with even a minimal level of MMA skill.
Petruzelli improved his record to 10-4. Kimbo falls to 3-1 and is now revealed as the ultimate fraud.
UPDATE: Watch the video of Petruzelli knocking Kimbo out.

That fight wasd B.S staged or the ref was payed off. Kimbo was still trying to get up when the ref was HOLDING HIM DOWN. put me in a ring with Seth I will knock him out in under a minute. Clean out the ref won't be trying to hold him down because he will be out cold unlike kimbo. Nuff Said!!!!!

Oh please!! Everyone loses at some point! It doesn't make him a fraud because he lost to a guy he knew nothing about after Ken Shamrock having to back out.
Things happen, and Kimbo won't let it keep him down.

ok, Ultimate Fraud is a bit harsh. he had about 2 hours to prepare for a guy who was much, much younger, faster and stronger than Shamrock is these days, so its whatever, really

Much stronger and younger? Clearly you are a ladyboy or just a straight lady. The younger guy was 205 pounds. Thats a light heavyweight. Its not age group you jackass its weight and Kimbo had the advantage. Kimbo didn't have time to prepare? Prepare for what? He isn't skilled at anything but throwing punches. He lost to a smaller boy that had taken a year off. I wish Kimbo could fight someone decent and win so he could get a shot at the big boys that might kill him. KIMBO SUCKS. The young guy didn't have time to train for Kimbo either you monkeys. He would have subbed for either guy...he didn't know he was fighting you stupid fools....

Youe are a douche bag. He was not knocked out by the jabs, the ref called the fight.

Um, yeah. A well timed jab can knock a guy out. Go find Joe Stevenson v. Melvin Guillard from the UFC on Youtube. Stevenson finished Guillard with a jab just like the one Petruzelli gave Slice.
And as for the argument that Kimbo had no time to prepare...come on, you think this guys prepares. He came out swinging and got caught.
You Kimbo fans are a joke...but thanks and keep those ratings up because this circus is sure entertaining!

Haha, Kimbo won't let it get him down? If Elite XC tries to put Kimbo Slice anywhere near a main event again, they might as well change their name to Barnum and Bailey.

Weirdest fight, ever.
Petrucelli didn't seem to connect; Kimbo didn't look to coverup. The follow-up strikes were weak. ... For those saying he didn't prepare for this opponent - 14s?

Thats pretty harsh to call him the ultimate fraud. Look, the guy got hyped beyond any other fighter in the history of MMA. He got hit with a good shot and got knocked out. It happens to everyone. He can take it like a man (like he did) get back to training, not be the main event (which he never should have been) and start doing his thing.
I would like to see you get in the ring Michael David Smith. I don't think it's fair for an arm chair QB journalist like yourself to say such a harsh criticism.
I never bought into the Kimbo hype but I am also not ready to completely write him off.
I just think it very unfair to call a guy who steps into the ring a "fraud"

Well put. I don't recall people running around screaming that Houston Alexander was a fraud when he got KO'd in seconds not too long ago. Oh yeah, CBS and Elite hadn't erected a circus around him so nobody cared.
