UFC President Dana White pulls no punches in discussing the bankruptcy of EliteXC:
"Today is a great day in MMA," White said. "ProElite is dead."
White had harsh words for EliteXC officials Jeremy Lappen, Gary Shaw and Jared Shaw, talking about "how bad these guys were for the sport."
White also says the UFC used to pay a sports radio host named Scott Ferrall to come to their shows and cover the events. As Zach Arnold notes, this is a statement that should get a lot of attention.

I love it, awesome. A manager with balls is a rare commodity; keep it up Dana.

The cream will rise to the top. Gary Shaw is an abysmal character and exploited Kimbo, and would probably ruin the careers of many of the up and coming greats, like Gina Corrano. Promoters that are just showing up on the radar screen like Jake Stahler @ PrimetimeFC, who match their fighters right and treat them fair will take over the sport from the promotional standpoint. They will take it all to the next level.

MMA fighters need a 2nd place to go other than UFC. Dana doesnt respect people or fighters who arent contributing to his legacy. Hes a business machine.
