If you study the fight, the hit that knocked Randy down with Brock's hands so big, his punch missed other than his pinky end and it KO'd the Natural. A Great fight but it also showed me that Frank Mir will beat Brock a 2nd time when it comes. Frank is too much now, skill-wise again, that he has recovered from his accident. I like Brock but he will never be sympathetic because he is so big & "supposed to be" invincible compared to a normal sized skilled martial artist. He is awesome and only in his 20s too. If he continues to work out alone as a hermit, he will indeed be the greatest but the art of the sport will not be expanded.

all joking aside, who cares mma is a joke its just another way for people with no talent and brains to make a buck, lesnar outweighs couture by almost 60 pounds, what the heck, when I heard about the fight I said bet the house on lesnar, not because he is great because he is fighting a over the hill guy that weighs 60 pounds lighter, mma is a joke, stop watching it and making that guy money, boxing is the only fighting sport and it always will, to the smart people, mma is like nascar is to the rednecks, they roll around for 5 minutes and play footsies with each other, then the ref breaks it up and then they do it again, what a waste of time and air.

Clearly you're not familiar with grappling. Lots goes on. You'd be amazed. Boxing is it's own sport. MMA is all combat sports rolled into one extremely challenging combat sport. Your NASCAR analogy doesn't hold water but I understand your point.

I love MMA. It's boxing for those with ADD. Boxing bores me. I was disappointed to see Brock win. He isn't a martial artist. He's just a big dude with wrestling skills. I am a big fan of Randy but maybe it IS time to hang up the gloves. Kenny Florian continues to amaze me. Who will he beat next?

This was clearly a set up by Dana White and you all fell for it. I loved the UFC and now find myself reeling for this WWE style scripted fight. Randy and Dana have been in a lawsuit situation for the past year and this was there way of settling it. Who gets a title fight two fights in to the UFC...especially when they lost their first fight and who retains belt status when they leave the ufc (think BJ Penn, Tito Ortiz) for a year and then out of nowhere is able to come back. This was a simple situation of greed on Dana White's part. Lesnar is his new cash cow...he brings payperview fans from his wrestling days who are eager to pay to see a "fake" wrestler fight in a real arena. This makes me feel betrayed by one of the only fighting franchises left that I felt had some honor to it. I now see Dana for what he is...greedy. If you don't believe me re watch the fight...do you really think a blow that landed on the outside of Randy's (a legend in MMA) neck could have knocked him out like that? Even the ref was caught off guard by how fake it was...watch closely at how long it takes for him to call the fight because he is in shock. All I can say is I guess Randy did what he had to do to escape a large lawsuit for faulting on his contract and I am sure they are even now...Randy can move forward...Dana now no longer owns his name.....just his soul in my opinion!! Shame on you Dana!!!! I have never watched an Affliction fight but be sure this will be my payperview selection from now on. They pay there fighters more...almost twice as much and this proves to me they are more about the fight than the money.

Who ever says mma is a joke obviously is a fool. And I completly agree with "dnv" said about Dana White he's right on. Dana is a money hungrey cheap ohh who doesn't give the fighters true respect, I too will be ending my UFC fanship, and will now be watching Affliction fights where they actually care about their fighters!

And for all the haters that talk shit about MMA, why are you even messaging about an mma fight if you don't like em then don't watch them. Im come on this site to hear what others have to say about certain fights not to read your bitching about a sport called MMA. Get a clue morons!!!

Dana, if you're listening - keep the pro wrestlers out of the mma biz. We don't need Kimbo or Brock. If you want to have a goliath class for the UFC for the spectacle of it, then I'm all for it... Any of you who have rolled in jiu jitsu or excelled in Karate etc,. know that the big heavy guys do not need a tremendous amount of skill to ground and pound (I'm a light heavyweight in tourney's so I'm speaking from limited experience, and I've met a ton of big boys that can really go toe to toe.) Yeah, they can be tapped out, but I can see ground 'n pound fighters at the local pub. This doesn't make for a good "pro" Mixed Martial Arts fight and certainly isn't worth the pay per view money. I'm still a UFC fan, but we are moving down a slippery slope. No more pro wrestlers or imitators strolling down the ramp in corny oversized cowboy gear etc... More GSP/Silva/Nogueira/Joe Daddy (SP?) style fighters with real MMA skills and heart.
