ANYONE WHO STEPS INTO THE CAGE HAS MY RESPECT AS A WARRIOR. BUT ON A GIVEN NIGHT NOBODY IS UNBEATABLE. THAT'S WHAT MAKES THE UFC THE MOST AMAZING FIGHT GAME AROUND. BOXING IS NOW FORGOTTEN. WHO CARES ABOUT 2 GUYS DANCING AROUND THE RING LIKE SISSYS FOR 10 ROUNDS. LONG LIVE THE UFC. WHERE REAL MEN AND NOW WOMEN PUT IT ALL ON THE LINE. THANKS DANA FOR CREATING AND STICKING TO YOUR GUNS AND BELIEVING IN THIS GREAT SPORT WE KNOW AS THE UFC. TALK IS CHEAP LETS GET READY TO REALLY RUMBLE.

Dana didn't create this. It was all really started 80 years ago by Helio Gracie as a way to prove his form of Jiu Jitsu against any other form of fighting. In the early ninety's the Gracies started the modern day UFC with absolutely no rules. Absolute no bars hold fighting, only after constant legal issues did the Gracie's agree to sell out. The reason they didn't want rules was to allow the opponents every opportunity to beat them.
What Dana did was implement rules to reduce legal issues and implement a well designed marketing plan, and convince some major investors that the UFC was a good investment.
Dana has done both good things and bad, he bought out the financially bankrupted pride fighting, but just contracted the big names that he could.
Some big names refused to sign with the UFC.

In all fairness, the UFC was nothing before Dana and the Fertita's took it over. They bought the UFC for 2 million back in 2001, and now it is a billion dollar company.

Frank Mir was great tonight but fans should not disrespect Lesnar. Remember Lesnar came out and knocked Mir to the ground and was about to pound on him until Mir complained about a punch to the back of the head. The Ref. stoped the fight and took a point away from Lesnar. The Ref. then stood them back up and Mir managed a Leg Bar. Don't sell Big Lesnar or Big Mir short.

When Dana White puts Gina Carcano in the octogon I'll shell out my 50 bucks to watch that fight. Until then I'll get my fill of misbehaving brats for free on spike.

Well the guy who made the UFC is the one that was running it into the ground. Once Lorenzo loaned Dana money to buy the UFC Dana worked to get it regulated and commisioned. He also had rules implemented to get away from the human cock fighting and street fighting image as possible. Thank Dana White for that.
