Not much has changed since the last time I put together a list of the Top 10 pound-for-pound fighters in mixed martial arts. No one in my Top 5 -- Fedor Emelianenko, Anderson Silva, Georges St Pierre, Miguel Torres and Lyoto Machida -- has fought in the last month, and no one in my Top 10 has lost. But on the morning after two of my Top 10 -- Quinton "Rampage" Jackson and Shinya Aoki -- both won their fights, it's worth revisiting my rankings. The full list is below.
Top 10 Pound-For-Pound fighters in MMA
1. Fedor Emelianenko
2. Anderson Silva
3. Georges St. Pierre
4. Miguel Torres
5. Lyoto Machida
6. Quinton Jackson
7. B.J. Penn
8. Rashad Evans
9. Mike Brown
10. Shinya Aoki

So you think that Yushin Okami is a better fighter than Torres, Brown, or Machida ... ? Are you watching the fights on a handheld B&W TV or something?

Looks like we won't get to see another Top 10 fighter in action until April when Miguel Torres, Anderson Silva and Shinya Aoki are all in action.

BJ Penn should be ranked higher. If we're looking at P4P numbers, then BJ Penn is a 55'er now, only. And without a doubt the most devastating 55'er on the planet.
And I have trouble putting any 205'ers on this list. No 205'er has done anything to separate themselves from one another when it comes to the top tier fighters. Either that means the talent pool is unusually deep at 205, or it means that no one fighter is good enough to rise above standard competition. Until we get a dominant 205 name, I won't be adding any of those to my personal top 10 P4P list.

Rampage is 5-1 in the UFC. He has KO victories over Wanderlei, Liddell, and Eastman. A dominate 5 round win over Henderson, and a close decision loss to Forrest Griffin.
BTW everybody - Personally, if your list doesn't have Fedor at the top - I stop reading.

I think that it's time to have GSP and Anderson Silva fight each other. I realize there is a weight difference but dana eluded to GSP possibly moving up in weight to fight Anderson Silva. Maybe they can make that one of the fights for ufc 100.
