Thomas, a former Ultimate Fighting Championship competitor, used a brutal knee to the face to knock out Lemley at the March Badness MMA and boxing event. Then, in the ring, he grabbed the microphone and told the crowd and the pay-per-view audience watching at home that he'd love to do the same to Brown.
"It's not cool to put your hands on a woman," Thomas said. "So Rhianna, if you want someone to kick his ass, holler at me."
Thomas, who improved his professional record to 24-8, is a featherweight who tips the scales at just 145 pounds. But with his knockout power and his black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, he'd have no trouble giving Brown a whooping. Brown had better hope Rihanna doesn't take Thomas up on the offer.

Rhianna you are very ungrateful to all of the good people across America who have shown concern for your well being. You even ignore Ophra for crying out loud.
The people have offerd you something more then just money (of which you have more then enough to last a lifetime I 'm pretty sure) and instead of absorbing the love you and your "peeps" are trying to find thee best way to capitalize even further of this situation!
Shame shame Rhianna!!

You have no idea what it is like to live in that kind of crap. Men like that convince you that you are a worthless piece of trash that no one else will ever want. They are con-artist, one minute he will be a charmer the next minute he will be a jerk. But never fail he will pour on the charm around friends, fans, and family. Also if she hit him, it was probably out of defense. No it is not right for her to hit either, but I will be damned b/c I'm not going to lie there and take a beating w/out defending myself as I'm sure she had done got to that point also.

Larry, I work at a battered women's shelter, and Brandalyn is spot on. There's a mental and emotional aspect to physical abuse that people who've never experienced it don't realize. The mental shackles are often worse than the physical beatings, because it's true, the woman often thinks she's at fault and not worth enough to save. Before you rebuke someone about something you don't understand, inform yourself, and then go out and be compassionate to women, and men, caught in the cycle of abuse.

Larry, you have no clue what happened between this couple. All you know is what everyone else knows. Everyone needs to stop being judgemental and thinking they know what the true situation is. There is a reason Chris Brown was not charged with domestic violence or assault and battery. Only Rihanna and Chris knows what really happened in that car. I am not justifying his behavior because I have a close family member who has been a victim of domestic violence. Only Rihanna knows what and who she needs. Everyone including Oprah need to shut up and let this young couple get counseling to deal with their issues. People want to help, worry about the victims who don't have the money or support she has. Regular women get beat and killed everyday. Let's focus on those who dont have the money or support to leave.

Sometimes it isn't easy to leave. Especially if the person mentally abuses you as well as physically abuses you. I was in a relationship like that. But, we also had an 11 month old son that made it much harder for me to leave. Eventually, I did leave, when I realized he wasn't going to change. As far as her decision to stay with Chris Brown, well thats up to her. It may seem like a bad decision, but its hers to make. I can only pray she will wake up and realize he won't change and she needs to end it.

i'm tired of this story. If rihanna wants to stay with her Chris Brown than that's her business..it's her life, not anybody elses. Also this fighter who said he would knock Chris Brown out is a fool and is doing that for attention. He just wants people to recognize him and wants the publicity. Why would he throw himself in something that is none of his business. please! I don't feel sorry for Rihanna or chris brown, because they both need psychological help.

Shaikiss3: If what you say is true and they both need psychological help then instead of not feeling sorry for either of them...as a decent human being (and I'm assuming you are), then you should feel sorry for both of them and hope that they get help. On the other hand, if they don't need help but are simply narcissistic, then perhaps you are justified in not having compassion.

This is for all of you here. Rihanna is ignoring people because SHE has admited to beating on him. Abuse is abuse and you can't be a hypocrite about it. I was a victim at one time but I never hit or slapped my abuser. Now that witnesses have come forward and started telling of the abuse they witnessed her dishing out she is quiet and subdued. I lost a male friend to an abusive wife. He never hit back he always walked away. Well she thought that because she was a woman no matter what she did to him she would get away with it. The last time he walked away she stabbed him and he died. Even she could not explain why she did the things she did at her trial. But know this even a faithful dog will bite its master if you beat on it long enough. I feel bad for them both. No ONE should HIT or ABUSE be they MALE or FEMALE. No ONE should put up with it MALE or FEAMALE. And if both are doing it they need to part ways.

Larry, the last time I checked Oprah is not God nor is she the reincarnation of Jesus Christ. She doesn't $hit gold. She's a regular person just like everybody else so Rihanna doesn't have to heed her words if she doesn't want to. Besides, I'm not sure if Rihanna would want to take advice from a woman who has never actually had a relationship with a man (Stedman doesn't even count).

First off,
I'm so tired of this story. Most people that speak on it don't even have true concerns about the issue of domestic violence. Most of these news shows and talk show hosts are only using their situation for ratings. That makes me very upset.
Second, I don't think that anyone should be beating him up. I think that any man or woman who has a problem being violent toward another person needs therapy. Domestic violence is a cycle. The step to getting rid of violence is not to encourage ANY type of violence but to understand it and take logical steps to fixing that problem. Most people who abuse others come from homes in which they were either abused themselves or witnessed abuse. I'm not condoning his actions in any way but he needs some help.
Third, I don't think that people understand abuse. There's three different types of abuse: physical, sexual, and mental abuse. People don't understand that just as much as women are victims you have male victims too. Not saying that Chris Brown is one of those male victims but its something to remember.
