The best mixed martial artists are the ones who are constantly developing new skills, and Matt Hamill showed that off in a big way in his last fight: Hamill, primarily known as a wrestler before, knocked out Mark Munoz with a devastating kick to the head in their fight at UFC 96 in March. Now Hamill is preparing for a fight with Brandon Vera at UFC 102 in August, and he says Vera had better be ready for another new weapon. Video below.
"I have a lot of things to add," Hamill says. "I add more moves every time I fight. Every time I fight, there will always be a new move, so at UFC 102 against Brandon Vera, I'll have a new weapon that no one has seen. The old Matt Hamill is not the new one. I can do things that are not expected."

Interesting fight. Wasn't expecting this one. The UFC really does have a deep and diverse roster. Looking forward to see these two clash.

Hamill is coming off of 2 impressive performances, but it's only been 6 months since Rich Franklin picked him apart ... Hamill looked like he didn't know how to fight.
If Vera is aggressive, I believe he will win this fight easily.

I like Hamill in this fight. I think Hamill will be able to take vira down at will, and given his good takedown defense that will spoil Vera's game plan and confidence. Vera doesn't seem to adapt well when he's getting dominated on the ground.

Sadly my fighter Hamill will get knocked out in this fight. Vera has alot more power in his kicks than Franklin and utilizes them alot more also. Hammill is extremely weak to Kicks and clinch.
