The UFC is continuing to beef up its presence on YouTube, and the latest video blog features Matt Serra, a few weeks out from his UFC 98 fight with Matt Hughes. (Some language not safe for work.)
Among the things we hear are Serra talking about Hughes saying his wife wants him to draw blood, that Serra is eating lean chicken and brown rice, and that Serra hated fighting Chris Lytle because Lytle is "the nicest guy in the UFC."
We don't learn anything too earth shattering in any of this, and I'd prefer to see more footage of the fighters in training, but I do like the idea of the UFC using YouTube to promote individual fighters and not just to follow Dana White around. I hope we get to go behind the scenes with Hughes, Rashad Evans and Lyoto Machida as well.

I agree with Serra's wife. I want Hughes to get pounded.

MDS, you got the wife part wrong. He was talking about Hughes' wife, who, according to Matt Hughes in a UFC hype vid, wanted to see Serra's blood.

You are correct. I've fixed that. Thanks.
