Video: Bobby Lashley Beats Mike Cook

Bobby Lashley is a former WWE star who's trying to become an MMA star. He's also quickly becoming a YouTube star, as the above video of his 24-second victory over Mike Cook has already become a viral video hit.

Lashley is new to the MMA game and hasn't fully refined his skills, but he didn't need much more than brute power to get Cook into a position where he could hook in a guillotine choke and force the quick stoppage.

Up next for Lashley is his first fight with someone who might have even more brute power than he does: Bob Sapp, the former football player and Japanese kickboxing star, will fight Lashley in June.

Now that they are both in mma, it is going to be good to see Brock Lesnar whip his _ss!Lashley has some size, but thats all.All he did in that fight was overpower the guy and choke him out.He has NO technical skills what so ever.A choke hold is probably the ONLY move he knows, and he probably learned that by accident playing around in the WWE.

If you knew anything about MMA, you would know that every fighter wishes they had wrestling skills. Wrestlers have been the most dominate fighters in MMA.
You guys that can't recognize what wrestling brings to MMA should get off your couch and give it a go; i guarentee you'll have a different point of view from a cage/mat than your couch.

You guys are stupid tools. Bobby Lashley was a sgt. in the army, has boxed before, and a 3 time champion in REAL amateur wrestling. I'm more then sure with alittle more practise he can be a force in MMA. Being a pro wrestler would actually make you better at MMA. Do you know how much punishment those "fake" wrestlers take? Hes use to bumps and bruises. All this guy has to do is punch you a few times (look at the guy hes a gorilla) and get u on the mat and ur not going anywhere. Lashly is going to beat the hell out of bob sapp. Sapp don't have the stamina and endurance like Lashley. Sapp is good for about 5 mins then u can knock his fat ass out.
