Four months after losing to Georges St Pierre at UFC 94, UFC lightweight champion BJ Penn is still angry that the Nevada State Athletic Commission didn't take action against St. Pierre for having grease rubbed on his body during the fight. In fact, Penn says he's so angry that he never wants to fight in Las Vegas again."To me, Keith Kizer can't be trusted," Penn said today on the DAM Morning Show. "The head of the athletic commission can't be trusted. I never want to fight under the Nevada State Athletic Commission again, so I don't know when's the next time you're going to see me in Vegas."
That's a rather shocking statement, considering that many of the biggest UFC events take place in Las Vegas. But Penn sounded serious about it, and he sounded like he's not afraid to antagonize Kizer, the head of America's most powerful state athletic commission.
"I thought the Athletic Commission was there for your health and safety, not to d**k you around," Penn added. "I love Las Vegas, without a doubt. I just don't like the athletic commission. It's dangerous for any human being."
Penn will defend his lightweight title against Kenny Florian at UFC 101 on August 8 in Philadelphia.

Wow. Though I do feel sympathy for BJ Penn. I feel the NSAC didn't do enough. Even though we look at in hindsight and say "BJ got dominated and should have stayed at lightweight", the fact is that GSP still fought with his body lubricated (which I think hindered BJ's performance early in the fight).

Do you honestly believe that BJ had any chance at winning this fight? Given 10 rematches , do you think BJ could win even one? Anyone with half a brain (including Dana White ) knows that Bj will take a worse pounding , probably a career ending beating. BJ has talent and is very flexible, but not even close to the same class as St-Pierre.I can understand that Penn fans actually believe and hope that he can fight at WW. The truth is , Fitch and Alves would demolish BJ... and none of them could even win a single round against GSP. Sometimes the truth hurts but BJ is currently way out of his league against any top 10 welterweight.

There should have been some kind of punishment for the vaseline. Even some kind of fine or suspension of the cornerman or something. They don't have to overturn the ruling or make it a NC to be fair. Fine would be appropriate.
I can understand why BJ is pissed. Too bad it ended that way. That was such an anticipated fight. There are planty of other venues to compete at.
Prdiction: Penn walks away from fighting after Florian win or lose. I think with his successes and now having a kid, he's ready for the beach and the good Hawaiian kine bud.
Hope he retires on top with a Big W over K-Flo.

What a cry baby. Penn should just man up and admit GSP out classed him as a fighter, and actually as a person too. The little bit of Vasoline that may have gotten on GSP's right shoulder didn't affect the fight. Penn was dominated at every aspect of the fight; GSP won fair and square. Hopefully Florian kicks his ass too. Kill the body Kenny, this guy is extra thick skulled.

Yeh just like a knee to the head or kick to the balls is not a big thing and wont affect a fight? Some of you are seriously fakking stupid to think Vaseline, eye gouging, ilegal moves, dont affect fighters chance to win. If i couldnt perform an arsenal or techniques because your back and shoulders are slippery for 3 rounds then you won by cheating.

I almost agree that some of Penn's wins by eye gouge should be reversed. How many times has he eye gouged guys? More than once I'm sure.
That little touch on the shoulder blade was nothing. If someone wanted to be effective lubing you'd do it well before the fight so it bled out with your sweat. Guess you've never rolled with someone who uses lotion. You wouldn't put a little touch on a shoulder blade with one little finger. Penn and his Mom should man up and admit GSP is the better man, in or out of the cage.

the video i saw of the "incident" showed very little evidence of it having any effect on the fight. not to mention some guy (from the commission i believe)comes over and tells his corner not to do that and to wipe him down. GSP's back and shoulders are like a LHW. he's a beast. penn was just outsized and outmatched.

Yeah. How many triangles or armbar attempts did you see after he was supposedly greased?......None thats how many. In fact for someone who is a Jui Jitsu expert BJ attempted very few submissions at all. He just straight got beat down and needs to stop whining before he loses the respect of more of his fans.
