The WEC 41 main event of Urijah Faber vs. Mike Brown is just moments away, but we may already know who the winner of that fight will take on next: Jose Aldo, who used a flying knee to earn a stunning TKO victory just eight seconds into his fight with Cub Swanson.After touching gloves with Swanson, Aldo backed up and then charged forward, landing his knee squarely on Swanson's forehead. Swanson fell to the ground with a gash over his eye, and after Aldo landed a couple more punches, the referee brought the fight to an end.
"I want to be the champ," the Brazilian Aldo said afterward, through his translator. "I want to fight for the title. All my fans put me here. This is what makes me fight."
Aldo is a Brazilian jiu jitsu black belt, but his greatest skill is his dynamic striking: He can win fights with his hands, his feet, his elbows or his knees. He's a complete mixed martial artist and would give either Faber or Brown a tough test -- a tough test that we may soon see.
