Round 1: This fight is underway. Cro Cop immediately throws a jab but then Al-Turk lands a very hard punch of his own. Cro Cop shows some serious strength throwing Al-Turk aside. Al-Turk misses with a high kick. Al-Turk misses with a looping right. Al-Turk is swinging for the fences. Cro Cop hesitates to throw a kick. Cro Cop lands a jab. Cro Cop looks very relaxed, like he's just biding his time. Cro Cop lands a hard combination of punches. Al Turk is in big trouble. Cro Cop stands it up. Cro Cop lands another had punch and it's over. Mirko Cro Cop wins by first-round TKO.
Cro Cop clearly poked Al-Turk in the eye, but ref Dan Miragliotta didn't see it.

This should have been a "No Contest" since there was an unintentional foul. It was clearly a bad decision to award Cro-Cop the victory. The fight was roughly even until the foul.

The fight wasnt even close, Cro Cop clearly looked like he was completely unafraid of Al Turk, and merely waiting to explode on him, and when he did, the poke occurred.
Why werent these same people crying when Couture actually LOST A BELT via eye poke from Belfort years ago?
Al Turk has some serious fans, who knew.
