UFC 100: Dana White on Thiago Alves' Opportunity of a Lifetime

UFC welterweight champion Georges St Pierre is a heavy favorite in his July 11 title defense against Thiago Alves at UFC 100, but as UFC President Dana White says in videos to promote the fight, Alves is probably the toughest challenger St. Pierre has faced, and this fight represents the biggest opportunity Alves has ever had as a professional fighter.

"For him to come in and take the title away from Georges St Pierre, who many people regard as one of the best in the world, this is really going to put Thiago Alves on the map and change his entire life if he can pull off this win," White says.

In another video promoting UFC 100, White says he thinks St. Pierre can become the best welterweight ever, and perhaps one of the greatest champions in UFC history:
