Ultimate Chaos, a strange MMA event built around the massive main event of Bobby Lashley vs. Bob Sapp, turned out to be a fairly dull show that culminated with Lashley destroying Sapp with an easy first-round TKO.Lashley, the former WWE star, and Sapp, the former Japanese kickboxing star, made for something of a freak show, and neither fighter looked particularly impressive. But Lashley was certainly the better fighter in the cage Saturday night.
Lashley immediately took Sapp to the ground, where he could use his amateur wrestling skills, while Sapp did nothing to stop him. Lashley just pounded Sapp on the head until the referee stopped it a couple minutes into the first round, and the crowd showered Sapp with boos afterward.
"I knew I had to take him down, cover him, keep him flat and pound him," Lashley said after the fight. "Go in there, ground and pound, get a quick win and get out of there."
Lashley, who improved his pro MMA record to 4-0, is a well-known fighter because of his World Wrestling Entertainment background. But in his fifth fight, he needs to find better opposition. Sapp just didn't look motivated to fight.
"No excuses," Sapp said. "He got me down, he controlled it, let's give it up to Bobby Lashley."
Before I'm ready to give it up to Bobby Lashley, I want to see him beat a game opponent. He didn't do that on Saturday night against Sapp.

Sapp looked like a spent Mike Tyson! Sapp is clueless on his back. Lashley did what he had to do to win. However, I think Mir has too many skills for Lashley and Lesnar too much power.
As for Pedro Izzo; RETIRE!

I thought Sapp was a real opponent! Bob Lashley is the real Beast! Don't hate ya'll. I don't care what people say about too much skills or too much power. Are we all looking at the same guy? How does Lesnar have too much power? Maybe Mir has better skills, but it don't mean a thing when you get your clock cleaned.

Skills mean a lot if you don't want to get your clock cleaned. Last night was a joke! To Lashley's credit he got a quick take down; however,Sapp looked like a beached whale. Do you think Lashley is going to take Mir or even Lesnar down like that? Mir at this time is a better striker then Lashley; Mir at leat has a jab and a straight right/left. Mir is also a submission specialist. He can submit Lashley from his back or any other position. If you want to tell me Lashley and Lesnar are on the same level in regards to power then we will have to wait and see on that one. Both do have a wrestling background.

lol Claytor,I agree they have to give him a better test. However,if he would have lost to Sapp then where would his career be heading?Down the tubes I assume. So playing it safe early on may be the way to go with him.
Now with that being said who do you folks think would be a good fight for him next?I am thinking maybe that Big Ben guy.I cant remember his last name.

Some people make me laugh. Unlike Lesnar who got pushed too fast(mind you he is a beast), Lashley is taking his time, learning to become a better fighter along the way. There's nothing wrong with taking this approach.

Lol, really?
Thats learning?
Applying a double leg sweep Stevie Wonder could see coming, then lay n praying(er, i mean ground and pound, yeah...totally ground and uh, pound) on a guy with the mobility of a salted snail...thats learning?
If Lashley was actually "learning", he mightve figured out by now how to do something more with the top guard than the clowny position he kept last night. if thats Fedor in the same position, hell, if its Brock Lesnar? Hes mounted him halfway through that video, and knocked Sapps washed up ass out.
This fight, along with Lashleys credibility/talent, was a massive joke.
Have Lashley fight someone REAL, not in the circus league, lets see what hes capable of the moment he winds up on his back, how much hes "learned" then.

If that was the UFC the ref would have stand them up. Boring. No activity from Lashley until the end. Lashley needs to get to the UFC where there are real fighters not past there prime guys.

If Sapp was about 10-15 years younger, then I cud see him in the ring with Lesner.. Right now, I don't think anybody is gonna beat Lesner...unfortunately...
Lashley probably couldn't beat more than a couple guys on the entire UFC heavyweight roster...if that...
