Nope, no replacement for Fedor. Affliction has opted instead to cancel the entire "Trilogy" card scheduled for Aug. 1 in Anaheim, Calif., according to a press release.
"Finding an opponent for the No. 1 ranked MMA heavy weight champion in such a short period of time was a huge endeavor and I'm thrilled at the amount of fighters willing to take on this challenge," Tom Atencio, vice president of Affliction Entertainment, said in a statement. "But in the end, we just didn't have enough time to promote a new fight to our standards."
As first reported by SI.com, Atencio began making calls Friday morning to alert fighters of the cancellation. The card took a major hit when main eventer Josh Barnett tested positive for steroids and was not licensed to fight Fedor Emelianenko. Affliction had said it would find a replacement and the card will continue on, but that decision has apparently changed.
It is unknown as of yet whether "Trilogy" will be rescheduled.

bye bye affliction! Josh Barnett knew he wouldn't be able to beat Fedor, thats why he decided to cheat. Thats to bad they canceled the show, cause I was planning on buying the event.

Fedor is the best fighter ever. Hope we can watch him soon fight again. I think he will be fighting for other organization in August.

The problem now will be by the time Fedor is able to fight Lesnar, he will have octagon rust and that could give Lesnar an advantage. Very unfortunate as I would like to see someone take Brock out!!!

Ive watched alot of Fedor fights and have yet to see him fight anyone that has much talent or is at the tops of their career. Until he comes to ufc and fights top notch fighters I really dont care where he fights. With that said I find it incredible that affliction or whatever it will be called tomorrow is still around.

Fedor is 50 pounds less than Brock walking on the street. Fedor is 240s and Brock walks around at 290s before he cuts for a fight. Fedor is a good fighter but needs to fight UFC and fight a top fighter in the UFC and stop fighting guys 20 pounds lighter than him or these fat asian guys who are considerably out of shape and slower than an elephant. Brock is faster and stronger than anyone Fedor has fought. Hopefully it would be a close fight, and I think it will be, but to even say Fedor would beat Brock based on any of his previous fights is ridiculous.
