Roy Nelson may be one of the most decorated fighters to ever appear on "The Ultimate Fighter" reality show. The former IFL heavyweight champion, who holds a 13-4 professional MMA record, will be one of the 16 fighters competing for a UFC contract on the tenth season of TUF. The series premieres September 16 on Spike TV. FanHouse recently spoke to "Big Country" about why he decided to appear on the show and living with Kimbo Slice. Check out the full video interview below.

Guess we'll have to see how deep the heavyweight cast of TUF is, but Roy should be a HEAVY favorite this season.

Pretty interesting comment about standing fighters up when they are on the ground. I know it's something richardbickle and myself disagree on at some fundamental levels. I will say I thought that was a bad standup in the Arlovski fight because Nelson was busy and was staying active. However, if a guy isn't staying active (Like GSP / Matt Hughes sometimes) I think he should lose that position.
Interesting interview and I think Nelson is a pretty coll guy ... a mans man if you will. I think he has the best shot of coming out of TUF and making a pretty big impact on the UFC HW division.
