SAN JOSE, Calif. -- After months of promotion, Strikeforce's most important event is in the books. In the end, Cris Cyborg, Gegard Mousasi and Gilbert Melendez upped their stock in the eyes of MMA fans, while Fabricio Werdum reintroduced himself to the world.FanHouse spoke to Strikeforce CEO Scott Coker moments after the show ended about everything that transpired in the Carano-Cyborg fight and where the promotion goes from here. Uh, here's a thought. The WBA, WBO, IBF, etc. are all organizations, but they are not PROMOTIONS. That's why you can have co-promotions w/ multiple promoters, and people holding multiple titles. But in MMA, the PROMOTION is also the one giving the TITLE. I'm not sure the UFC could stand up to a legal challenge--e.g. an antitrust suit--that challenges that! Maybe that's what we need to really open up the sport.

I agree, but Fighters need to undergo strict Drug testing , for it was sooooooo obvious that Chris Cyborg was using Steroids that Night, Look, we have seen all this before, in ''Track and field, Swimming, Boxing, WWE, Wrestling and now here on MMA.Carrana is a well conditioned Athlete, but never for a Secound stood a chance against Steroid pumped up Chis., ANYONE WHO HAS BEEN AROUND FIGHTERS, COULD SEE THAT SHE WAS ALL JUICED UP THAT NIGHT AND SHE HAS BEEN USING THIS HOMONE AXCELLERATING DRUG FOR SOME TIME, THE DRUG FIRST ATTACKS THE FACE, TURNING IT INTO A VERY MANLY TYPE STRUCTURE, THEN YOU CAN SEE AN OVER DEVELLOPMENT IN SHOULDERS, NECK AND CHEST CAVETY, THEN THE ARMS, THEY GET VERY VAINY AND SO ON. WHEN UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF THIS DRUG, THEY FEEL LIKE SUPERMAN, [WOMAN] AND COULD SERIOUSLY INJURE ANOTHER UNSUSPECTING FIGHTER, WEV'E SEEN THIS WHEN ''ARRON PRYER'' FOUGHT ''ALEXUS ARGELLO'' WHILE UNDER THE INFLUENZE OF DTEROIDS,AGUELLO WAS PISSING BLOOD FOR A MONTH. IF THE COMMISSIONS DON'T CONTROL THIS ABUSE, WE'LL SEE MORE SERIOUSE INJURIES ,POSSIBLY DEATH ACURE HERE IN THIS CAGE FIGHTING ARENA'S. TO MEN LIKE ''DANA WHITE'' IT'S ALL ABOUT THE MONEY,HE COULD CARE LESS ABOUT THE SAFTEY OF THOSE FIGHTERS. ONE COMMENTER SAID , WELL, THE HAVE A DR.
