Dana White Furious at Rampage Jackson

UFC President Dana White says he's so mad at Quinton "Rampage" Jackson for postponing a fight with Rashad Evans in order to play B.A. Baracus in an upcoming A-Team movie that he isn't even talking to him. Video below.

"I hate it so bad I can't even tell you how bad I hate it," White said on The DAM Morning Show. "I'm so mad at Rampage over this. Rampage is a guy that we've obviously taken under our wing the last few years, really like him and have done a lot of things for him. For him to do this to me, to do this goofy A-Team movie, I'm not happy about that at all."

White also scoffed at the notion that Rampage is going to become a successful actor.

"You're going to be a huge, bona fide movie star with one role?" White said. "They're not paying him jack. He's giving up literally millions of dollars to play Mr. T. If you think he's going to go in there and say 'I pity the fool' and he's going to become a huge serious actor from that role, give me a break."

White did say, however, that he wasn't going to part ways with Jackson, because White knows that Jackson is a great fighter and a great attraction for the UFC. Ultimately, that's what makes White so mad.

when have a ufc fighter ever made millions? put that money where that mouth is Dana and stop jipping your fighters.

With the build-up of the Ultimate Fighter and Sponsorships leading up to the PPV event, it's not unreasable to think that he is giving up $1,000,000.00 +

That fight is a big deal, and I think I'd be pretty upset too. Actually, I think White was pretty tame considering ... he didn't say anything negative about Rampage personally.

The salary numbers you see posted after the fights do not include PPV%. A lot of the big timers pull in significantly more than is indicated by their base. Many of the top dogs like rampage (no pun intended) will make 5 or 6 (or more) times what their base salary indicates. Guys like liddell, ortiz and Lesnar easily pull in 2-4 mil a fight

Well, to tell the truth, I am mad/disappointed that Rampage is postponing a fight to "star" in a movie as well. I would much rather see him in the ring, then on the screen. I think it is kinda a snub to MMA fans.

there will always be fights for rampage. always know that. no matter what dana will never cut rampage unless he kills an infant...wait nevermind. or maybe when he chooses not to fight for the title...wait nevermind. maybe when he decides to do a movie instead of doing a fight in your hometown...wait that didn't happen either. the point is if you can add money to your pocket while you are still relevant then do it. plain and simple. make the money while you can. fights will always be there for rampage, and plus dana likes him anyways. so win win. make your TUF money, movie money, then go make your fight money. not just fight money. that will always be there. i see why he didn't fight machida, he wouldn't win. no one will. so stop saying he is dumb for not taking that fight with machida. he wants money and is very smart about it.

Another thing he doesn't owe fans anything. he is simply looking out for his best interest which is fine by me. if you guys could either be in a movie and fight later you would do it. or would you guys fight now, and lose all that opportunity to make money. when rampage starts losing because of his one sided-ness, no one would want him to do any show...ie TUF show movie. nothing. make the money my friend make the money.

ANYONE who thinks that the UFC is "a fake" is an IDIOT!!! (I'd love to see "ongos" be in the Octagon for 30 seconds... (The ring would be too wet to fight in after he pees all over himself once they shut the door... (behind him/her?)

BTW, Dana White is one to talk... I give him props for taking UFC to a whole new level (I watch Royce Gracie win UFC 1), but he's a hot-head and needs to beam-down then learn that the english language contains more than 4-letter words!!!

yup.. i just dont see what the big deal is? i still don't believe they make the millions.. show me the actual numbers then maybe.. i'm saying this, because the ufc is making the millions.. i don't think the fighters do. If that was the case, then why would someone like mayweather talk so much smack about how much mma fighters get paid?

page would have probably made 150K from the ufc. he would have had to pay his camp (manager, trainer, training partners) around 40 to 50%
of that, if he got hurt the hospital/dr.s cost about another 10-15K, taxes, he walks with 40, maybe 50 grand from what the ufc would pay. great money for the last six months of getting ready.
