Update: Get UFC 103 results live.Former UFC light heavyweight champion Vitor Belfort and The Ultimate Fighter 7 winner Efrain Escudero were off point Friday at the UFC 103 weigh-ins, but will have two hours to make weight for their fights Saturday in Dallas, Texas.
Belfort, who is considered a middleweight, weighed in at 196.25 pounds for his 195-pound catchweight fight against Rich Franklin, who registered on the dot at 195 pounds. Belfort made 196 later on in the evening, making the bout official.

Escudero weighed in at 157 pounds and was forced to lose one more pound, which he did on his second try later on in the evening. Escudero poked fun at his own height disadvantage by standing lower to face opponent Cole Miller's chest during the staredown.
Frank Trigg's return was made official when the two-time welterweight title contender came in at 170.25 pounds after competing that last several years as a middleweight. Koscheck, whom Trigg referred to as the younger version of himself, weighed 170 pounds.
Hermes Franca stepped off the scale at exactly 159 pounds for his catchweight bout against Tyson Griffin at that weight. The change was apparently last minute as Griffin weighed-in at 155.5.

Why is this a catch weight fight anyway(Franklin vs. Belfort) they both fight at 205 now.I'm having a hard time understanding this. Why not have them weigh in at 205.I know Franklin fights at 185 also but besides the Silva 195(his last fight) fight he has moved to 205 after the ass kicking he took from The Spider.
