Tyron Woodley only became a professional MMA fighter seven months ago. After beating Zach Light Friday night on the Strikeforce Challengers card in Oklahoma, he's already 4-0 and one of the sport's best welterweight prospects.
Woodley, a former All-American wrestler at Missouri, dominated Light both in the stand-up and on the ground, punching him, slamming him and basically having his way with him before finishing him by second-round submission with an arm bar. Light showed toughness and determination, but Woodley was on a whole different level athletically.
At age 27, Woodley isn't exactly a youngster, but he is young in the sport, and he's still a little rough around the edges. But he's taking his training seriously and looking like a future star for Strikeforce. He's exactly the kind of fighter Strikeforce needs to develop, and I look forward to seeing him back in the Strikeforce cage gain soon.

Woodley is a beast and no one has the speed, agility, explosiveness, and learning skills this side of GSP.
