Marius Zaromskis is still known only to the hardest of the hard-core MMA fans in the United States, but if he keeps winning fights like he won his fight against Myeon Ho Bae Sunday at Dream 12, American fans will learn about him soon. Video below.
That was, amazingly, the third consecutive fight Zaromskis has won with a head kick: He beat both Jason High and Hayoto Sakurai the same way at Dream 10, winning Dream's welterweight tournament in the process. Those two wins were spectacular, but to do it again -- when his opponent obviously had to know it was coming -- is remarkable.
Although the UFC tends to dominate all discussion of the welterweight division, you can make a very good case that Zaromskis deserves to be considered one of the Top 10 welterweights in the world. And he's undoubtedly one of the most exciting. I hope Dream keeps him active.

He is such a beast. Hopefully he is part of the Dream/SF partnership and makes an appearance stateside next year. It'd be a travesty for fans to not see this kid fight. He's the real deal. When I saw him knockout Jason High in the Dream GP it reminded me of that wicked kick Rashad landed on Salmon. Brutal.
I still think Mahmed Khalidov has the best array of kicks in all of MMA. Can't wait to see him fight in Sengoku and eventually in North America.

It doesn't hurt that Marius is also signed to Strikeforce, so he could fight the likes of Shields, Diaz, Hieron, Riggs, etc soon.
The guy is probably the most exciting WW and fighter in MMA.

He has incredible kicks ... no doubt about it, but this is one that could have been easily avoided. He saw it coming all the way - just underestimated the power and had poor hand placement.
I'd like to know a little more about the 7-1 Che Mills who has 2 KO victories over Marius Zaromskis!
