Forrest Griffin was in a celebratory mood after beating Tito Ortiz at UFC 106. But he acknowledged that he still looks back and feels badly about the way he fought the last time he stepped into the Octagon, a first-round technical knockout loss at the hands of Anderson Silva.

Griffin told Dave Farra of MMA30.com that he felt bad for himself that he was so badly beaten by Silva -- and bad for Silva that some people interpreted his post-fight departure from the Octagon as a sign of disrespect.

"I didn't intend to disrespect him by running out of the cage like I did," Griffin said. "I was just in a bad place. I give him all the respect for beating my ass. I just wish I could have put up a better fight against him."

I didn't like the way Griffin ran out of the cage after losing to Silva, but one of the reasons Griffin is such a fan favorite is that he wears his heart on his sleeve.

When we posted our first women's pound-for-pound MMA rankings over the weekend, we had Megumi Fuji at No. 3 on the list. On Monday at the Shooto event in Tokyo, Fuji won again, beating Tomomi Sunaba with a first-round arm bar.

Fuji certainly has the most impressive record in women's MMA (19-0 with 16 submissions), although I don't know that she's fought the most impressive collection of opponents. I'd love to see her fight in the United States, but for now we'll settle for watching her rack up the wins on YouTube.

All the fighters participating in UFC 106 will step on the scales Friday at the Mandalay Bay Events Center for the UFC 106 weigh-in, and if you can't be there in person to watch the weigh-ins in Las Vegas, you can watch the live video right here at FanHouse.

In the main event at UFC 106, Tito Ortiz and Forrest Griffin will meet in a light heavyweight bout. Both Ortiz and Griffin will have to make the light heavyweight limit of 205 pounds, with a one-pound buffer for a non-title fight.

The UFC 106 weigh-ins begin Friday at 7 PM ET, and the video is below.

LAS VEGAS -- Fabricio Camoes has long been considered one of the best kept secrets in mixed martial arts, but come Saturday night, that all might change. The former middleweight Brazilian fighter who now competes as a lightweight will face veteran Caol Uno in his Octagon debut at UFC 106.

When FanHouse spoke to Camoes, who's nicknamed "Morango," which means strawberry in Portuguese, due to his love of strawberry yogurt, at the Wand Fight Team Gym in Las Vegas on Tuesday, he said that while Uno already had a run in the UFC, his time is now. The Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt under Royler Gracie and Vini Aieta also talked about what it means to finally get a shot in the UFC after competing in the sport for nine years.
